Thanks to all the young athletes, parents and friends who helped make the Irish runner 10 mile a success in the Phoenix park on Saturday morning. Much appreciated by Athletics Ireland.
Day 2 and 3 of the all Ireland juvenile championships were held in Tullamore this weekend. Ashley ran a PB in her heat of the 400m under 18, Clare Murphy ran in the 400 under 17. Sam, Antonia and Aontoinette ran in the 200m heats, Sam just outside his best time. Joe Fogarty ran a very mature race in his 1500m finishing 4th just after arriving home on Fri from 3 weeks in the gaeltacht! Great run Joe! Sean Donoghue finished 2nd in a very competitive 1500m under 18. Emily Corcoran finished off her under age career with a gold medal in the high jump under 19. Well done Emily.
