Sat 26th Jan Best of luck to our women’s team Catherine, Emily, Chloe, Jodie, Caoimhe, Siobhan and Alison at the indoor league second and final round in Athlone.

Training today for sprints group and older middle distance group (2003 and older ) Santry at 10.30.

Final reminder for all club membership forms to in by this weekend. Senior members check website for senior forms.

Sun 27th Jan Hole in the wall 11am everyone. Good luck Jodie, Darragh, Alison, Luke and Emily at the National junior and under 23’s in Athlone today.

Tuesday 29th Jan Bogies at 4 for anyone who’s free. Everyone else NIA meet at 6.45. Bring 2 euro.

Thur 31st Jan St John Bosco school hall 7pm everyone. Gym group 7 pm.

Training this Thursday night

Please note we have just received a message from the indoor arena that due to essential maintenance the arena will be closed on Thursday evening. Training on Thursday will now be gym group 7pm, every one else St John Bosco schøol hall at 7, Dermot’s group check. Please circulate.

National League Round 2 Athlone IT – 26th Jan 2019

Our women’s indoor track and field team will travel to Athlone on Saturday in search of retaining the title won a year ago. In fact, we are seeking to win three in a row which no other club has achieved to date. Despite the fact that we are leading from day one,  we need to be at full strength due to the new format of the league and the following team has been selected to represent our club;

DCU schools cross country

We had athletes competing for their schools at the annual DCU schools cross country races yesterday. In the junior race Clare o Connor had a great run finishing an excellent 2nd overall. Cliodhna Ryan was an impressive 10th, Kacey was 12th, Hazel Maguire and Aisling Keenan completed the team for St Dominics and they finished 4th overall.

In the inter girls race we had Gillian Murphy 2nd, Clare 3rd , Sara Byrne 6th, Cliodhna Donaghy, Laura Maleady and Keelin Gogarty completed the St Dominic’s team which were overall winners.

The senior team race was also won by St Dominic’s with Kate Harrold, Sara Forde and Iva on the winning team.
Good to see Conor Murphy back in action in the inter boys race for St Declans.
We done everyone.
