A brilliant bronze medal for Pearl in the 80m under 8 age group. Martha and Aimee were both 5th in their finals. Well done to all the girls.

Fabulous news from Limerick! Our three little women have made the finals of their events in the National Community Games!!!. Martha on left in 60m hurdles under 10, Pearl in the middle – under 8 final of 80m and Aimee under 10 100m final. It’s a great achievement to make the finals and best of luck to them all in their finals this afternoon.

Best of luck to Pearl o Brien, Martha Fisher and Aimee Ryan who represent Dublin at the National Community Games in Limerick this weekend. This is an historic weekend for the University of Limerick track as it had just been totally relaid and revamped to a very high standard. Our girls will be among the first competitors to get a chance to try out the brand new track!!

A big thank you to all who helped out at the rock n roll races this weekend. Greatly appreciated. All quiet now until the last week of August and out annual Curracloe trip on September 1st.

News just in from Scotland that Emily Corcoran has won the high jump under 18 in a new pb of 1m 71cm. Emily has been knocking on the door of a breakthrough jump over the last 3 weeks and was absolutely thrilled to finally fulfill her potential. Well done Emily and on a great day for Irish womens sport a huge well done to the Irish womens hockey team!. Amazing what wearing an Irish singlet on your back can do to a performance!!!
