A great run by Goda in Cork today in the under 15 National cross country. Goda was also on the winning Dublin team in the inter county! In the under 11 and 13 races Juliette and Jessica found the step up to National to be a substantial one. Both finished in the top half of the finishers and will learn a lot from the experience.
Cliodhna Ryan ran a gutsy race and finished 29th in the under 19 race despite being a bit under the weather last week. She helped the Dublin team to inter county silver.
Well done everyone and thank you to the parents who made the trip to Cork today.
Top 12 finish for Goda at Nationals in Cork 👏🏻

JINGLE BELLS 5km December 3rd Phoenix Park

There were PBs galore for our women at the Jingle Bells race today in Phoenix Park. In a very competitive race DCH athletes showed in prominent positions but not high enough to gain the team title and finished a close third.

Tue 6th Dec we return to the NIA for Tuesday night training for the rest of the Winter. We have to fit in with the schedule that’s on offer so the following is the situation. Everyone born 2010 and younger plus the sprints group assemble at the foyer at 7.15pm. Charge is 4 euro for each athlete. 3 or more in a family 12 euro. Revolut to 0864071141 with child’s first name on the night if possible or cash is fine.
At 7.45pm all the older athletes should assemble at the foyer and pay as above. We will review how this is working as the nights go on. This is a shared booking with other groups, that’s why we have to split the groups and we have to take a 90 mins slot!
Thur 8th Dec Grangegorman at 7pm for everyone
Registration /membership forms for 2023 are now available on the club website. Revolut as above and don’t forget the athlete’s name on the note.
