Our girls were in fine form today at the Castleknock College schools races for first and second year girls today. Clare o Connor got our day off to a great start with a runaway win in the first year race. Alex Corr led for most of the way in the 2nd year race and was just caught on the run in and finished 2nd. Just behind her we had Kate Harrold. Next in were Antonia and Aontoneitte followed closely by Keelin Gogarty. Alex, Kate and Keelin were on the winning st Dominic’s team in the 2nd year race.

Results update
Last Friday Sean Donoghue won the under 16 boys race at the CBS all Ireland cross country championships in ALSAA. On Saturday Susie Mc Manus and Edel McNamara both ran pb’s in the Jingle bells 5k and with Cliona Murphy came 2nd team. On Sunday our juvenile athletes were in action in league 3 in Tallaght. Impressive winners on the day were Sean Donoghue, Dora Medgyesy, Gill Murphy, Sara Byrne. Caolan Collins was 2nd in her race. Others to impress were Aoibhinn McAuley, Shona and Keelin Gogarty, Cliodhna Ryan, Conor Murphy, Emily Murphy, Ella Mae Cromie, Aoibh Collins, Alex Corr, Clare o Connor. Well done to all who represented the club in the 3 league events and thanks to their parents for supporting all our young athletes by being there.

Sun 3rd Dec Sprints group 11am Hole in the Wall
Tue 5th Dec Training in the National Indoor Arena. Assemble in the foyer at 7.15. Bring 2 euro, Water, Shorts/ singlets/ croptops under tracksuits as it can get quite warm up there.

Competition/Training week beginning Sat 2nd Dec
Sat 2nd Dec Hole in the Wall 10.30 Sprinter plus older middle distance athletes.
Sunday 3rd Dec League 3 for juvenile athletes in Tymon Park. Everyone is expected to take part. The distances are very manageable and should be no problem for anyone. Bring 3 euro for your sticker and leave plenty of time to get there in case you get lost on the way.
