Leinster Schools Day 2
Day 2 of the Leinster schools were held in arctic conditions in Santry yesterday.  Well done to Sara Curran who came 3rd in the inter girls high jump and a huge well done to our star of the day David Connellan who ‘walked away’ with the senior boys walk and won our only gold medal of the championships this year. David really deserved this result as he has worked so hard on his fitness this year and it really showed.
Juvenile Leagues Round 4
Meanwhile over in equally chilly  Irishtown our smallies were in action in league 4.  Lots were missing due to communions etc but we had some good performances in particular from Hazel and Sophie English, Pierre, James, Jamie, Alison Burke, Alison Armstrong, Conor and Gillian Murphy, Liam Burke, Finn Burke Power and many others. Thanks to the parents who helped out and brought their children out to Irishtown.
